Impressed by the view from apsis through the valley was decided to bring out the idea of a new acting area with nature as a background. As the destroyed dome is one of the most remarkable missing features in this ruined church the use of the Vice-versa helped to highlight the stage by placing it under the dome. Besides that, it racked up the impact of an interactive background for diverse plays and performances that changes during seasons and different hours of the day. The question of having a sheltered space for various climate conditions is answered in an elegantly simple way by the design of a flat roof system with an independent column structure resulting in the preservation of the old stone from any interventions. To the extension of the new walls of the church was applied a translucent material that defines the entrance at the corner. Furthermore, it was designed to emphasize the ruins by using the contrasting tool between the remaining facade of the church and the translucent panels, introducing recognisability as an important feature to the visitors.
